Requiem for Reality

Political, hypothetical, existential, hypocritical, technological, philosophical, and musical. Or so I've been told.

Gravity..

I tell you what man. There is nothing more tragic than reality. But even more effective has got to be gravity. Tonight my mind is heavy. I keep getting it pulled back to Earth. And what will you do when you get pulled back that way? I mean you find yourself pushing against the Earth. But you can't escape it. The higher you go the harder you come back down. Until you break the grip of gravity. You're stuck...

And how do you do that? I mean gravity is everywhere man...and it's heavy. Sure it brings you down, but it can be your best friend. I can keep you grounded when you start floating off and thinking that you can't be effected by it.

Who are you to judge? Who am I to judge? You think you're invincible? You think that no one will ever see through you? Or gravity won't catch you. But the world keeps turning. It doesn't stop. Matter continues to have mass, and so gravity follows from that. And in the end you just keep on coming back.

And you can't choose who you love? Can you? Or can you? Can I? Am I any different than you? You and I both know that deep down we are all the same. You fall because gravity pulls you in. You don't choose to fall, but you can catch yourself...but man don't it hurt?

The worse part about the whole thing is to try to tell yourself that there is no such thing as gravity, but you ain't fly.....
